You might encounter hundreds, or even thousands of people in the course of a day – all of them living out their own unique lives. From time to time, I cross paths with truly extraordinary people and I’m given the opportunity to tell their amazing stories. To me, it serves as a reminder that our lives are anything but ordinary.

UM ANTHROPOLOGY

As a child, I’d stay up late and watch archaeology specials on the History channel. It had been a dream of mine to go on an archaeological dig, and the opportunity to do so presented itself when I partnered with the Department of Anthropology at my alma mater, the University of Miami, to create a short documentary about their important work and convince students to try their courses.

You would never know that the young man bagging your groceries and loading them into your car with a huge smile has also inspired tens of thousands of athletes all around the world. I partnered with Special Olympics Florida to create this short documentary about Athlete of the Year award recipient David Rams. His story will put a smile on your face.

Bringing together significant numbers of volunteers and under-served children for incredible and enriching experiences is what the Little Lighthouse Foundation does best. I partnered with the organization to create this film which highlights their annual accomplishments.

In junior high and in high school I played in the percussion section of the school band. When presented with the opportunity to document the progress of the Rhythm Fun program at the South Florida Center for Percussive Arts, I was quick to get on board. I worked alongside Brandon and Wendy at the SFCPA to tell their story in an effective way that yielded several lucrative grants.
